Hi, and welcome to another edition of MIBW. I hope that
you've had a good week. It has been a very hectic week for
myself. I have moved My IBiz Helper to a new web host,
aletiahosting.com They seem to be good for the money but wait a
month before I give rave reviews.. My original host
eclipsehosting.com was superb but they have a limit on the amount
of emails you can send out (1,000) so I had to move. Even though
I have my list with rapid reply , I have mixed reviews about them
and would prefer to manage my list on my own server, so
eventually I will move back over to add2it for my list host.

Here is a tip that I'm glad was given to me. When you move your
host, never cancel with your old host until everything is up and
running, meaning your email is coming through, your site has been
uploaded properly, and all DNS changes are completed with your
domain name. Funny thing was that on my computer all I would see
was my pages with my old host. Seems your computer gets used to
the IP address and doesn't want to let go when you change IP
addresses, so you end up doing a spring cleaning on your computer
as well (clearing out the cache). Oh Well, no one ever said this
was going to be a breeze!!

Since I am starting a new site next month then I needed a host
that can handle the emails. 1631 subscribers and counting.. Thank
you not just for subscribing but for remaining a loyal
subscriber. Like I said on Sunday, my goal is to present as much
original material as possible or how would you distinguish me
from all the other ezines that arrive in your inbox every day!!
Now if I'm no expert on a certain topic or see a Must Read
article, I will include it, trust me..

Today's' issue deals with once and for all how to stop the
excuses
and do what needs to be done to succeed not only online but in
life itself. I also am including a guest article from one of our
readers Kathy Stone from http://CashForCandy.com with a great
article about how much the Internet is a passion for some and a
weakness for others. Enjoy..

COMING NEXT WEEK

So is it really that hard to find subscribers for your list? Are
there certain gradual stages to becoming a publisher? Find out
next Friday..

2. Feature Article: EXCUSES AND SOLUTIONS: TIME FOR A CHANGE

by Donesia Muhammad

How many times do these phrases go through your mind?

" I want to start my own business, but I don't have the money!"

" I don't know the first thing about getting started online"

" How am I supposed to do this by myself. This is too much work"

Would have , Should have, Could have...

Enough already. Once and for all no more excuses. Stop worrying
about the lack of thousands of dollars. Stop worrying if your
site isn't designed with the latest bells and whistles. So what
if you don't have a merchant account yet? Do you know how much
they charge you per month? Selling $20 ebooks does not warrant a
merchant account !

STOP TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH THE INTERNET JONES'S

The successful marketer has put in a lot of work and time and
effort to succeed, but they all started like you and I.
Struggling and barely making it like everyone else. I know that
we are going through hard times, I know you are watching every
penny that comes in. Guess what, the Internet isn't going
anywhere. It's only going to get bigger and better. Like I said
before, you can always get a loan for thousands of dollars and
have someone set up your site for you but can you honestly say
that you would get the same satisfaction as you would from
learning everything from the ground up?

There are times when you see great deals from websites and ezines
regarding products, advertising, and discounted services and you
get frustrated that you don't have the money for those deals.
It's okay, if you never learn a thing online, learn this...There
are always deals, there will always be discounts, that's what
makes this whole Internet great. Okay?

But the real problem for aspiring entrepreneurs is not the lack
of funds, but honestly the lack of faith.

FEAR OF SUCCESS

Yes, I said it. Fear of success. You can be afraid to fail and
just as easily afraid to succeed. You worry that no one will
visit your site, that no one will buy your product. Then you
worry that people will love your product but then will start to
hate it because of some unforeseeable problem, and you don't know
how to handle the situation.

Are you someone who can't handle conflict? Would you rather back
yourself into a corner than deal with a situation? This is when
frustration hits and then you are overwhelmed with everything.

It is scary to raise a child correctly
It is scary to get married and lead a happy life
It is scary to start a new job with many responsibilities
It is scary to start your own business

Look inside yourself first and then you can show others what you
are made of.

(Back to our article)

Now that I have one website online I have started on my second
site. Am I scared. Of course, I am human but I am also
determined. Whenever crazy thoughts fly through my head that's
when I know that the "fear of success" factor is coming into
place. I get panicky and think:

No one is going to go to my site
Everyone is coming up with the same idea as mine
What if someone accuses me of spam
What if some disgruntled customer bad mouths me all over the Net

Well what if walking down the street, aliens bring me back to
their planet...

In other words, that's life...Things happen. You would be
surprised how many things you have control over and how many
things you have absolutely no control over.

Would you rather wait until you are too old to do anything about
it, and I don't mean age.. I mean your mind is too old to have
any desire to do anything new.

Let that fear go. There are a lot of things that we have no
control of. But you can pick and choose your own battles in life.
There are more important things in life to worry over. Let's
remove the emotional weight and clear our heads in order to
succeed.

Maybe this doesn't apply to you but every now and then we all
doubt ourselves and our ability, but you have to shake yourself
out of it and get on with the business of life.

Do you want to know my real reason for starting my own business.
My daughters. They are only 5 and 6 years old, but if they can
see from now that Mommy and Daddy have no fear of obtaining their
goals in life, then when they are older they will realize that
nothing is impossible, and for whatever life has planned for my
daughters they will be able to handle the situation because they
will have (hopefully) no Fear of Success.

7. Guest Article: PASSION OR WEAKNESS?

By Kathy Stone

O.K., I did it. I messed around on the internet too much at work
and lost my job over it. In my exit interview, when they told
me they would have to terminate me - I feebly replied "It's a
weakness." Oh, how I could have kicked myself driving home.
When will I learn to keep my mouth shut?

You'd think I would be worried about coming home and telling my
husband and daughter about losing my job - instead, all I could
think was, it's not a weakness - it's my PASSION.

I had been with this company for almost 15 years, but I just
never seemed to fit in, nodding in appreciation for my 1 to2
percent raises. I was making good money, but there was a price
to pay for that I guess I just chose not to deliver on. When
5:00 hit, I was going HOME - I had a job to do there.

I kept a saying underneath my adding machine that read: "The
biggest mistake people make in life is not trying to make a
living at doing what they most enjoy" (by Malcombe S. Forbes)

I tried to work on my internet business in the evenings and on
weekends, but I'm not as disciplined as you guys, the evenings
are nothing but dinner, some laundry, housework, homework,
etc…And the weekends, forget it, too much catching up to do, and
then before you know it, it's Monday. Back to the "rat race".

I think this is the best thing that has happened to me, it gives
me time to think - re-evaluate my life - it's not as bad as you
think. Don't risk your job like I did, though. I think I was
burnt out and not thinking straight.

Why did I feel that way? Well, my daughter is 11 years old.
I've paid someone else to raise her for 11 years. She's coming up
to some changes in her life that I want to be there for.

It seems that today's society demands that we do whatever
necessary to bring in the almighty buck, not for groceries, house
payment, electric, etc…but to buy bigger and better "things".

So, we'll see how this plays out. I think when today's society
realizes what is really important, they'll realize that the
newest car or flat screen T.V. is not what is really important.
I think the investment of time in the upbringing of our children
and getting back to basics is what's really important. And what
better investment can there be than that?

I'm going to try to put everything behind me and focus on my
internet business. I've learned the hard way that I just can't
do everything. Of course, winning the lottery sure would help.
But maybe this venture will turn out to be the lottery for me!

Old ancient sage, "When the student is ready, the teacher will
appear." This student is ready!

9. TIME TO LAUGH...

A man driving down a freeway saw the car ahead of him swerve
and hit a rabbit that was hopping across the road. The man
quickly pulled over to the side of the road to see if the poor
rabbit's deal or alive.

He got out of his car, went over to the rabbit, and found that
it was dead. He was so moved that he started crying, holding
up the rabbit.

A woman in a sports car driving by was so startled that she
pulled over to see whether she could help.

"Are you all right?" she said. "I saw you holding something up
and stopped to check on you.

"It's not me," the man said, "it's this poor rabbit. Some mean
guy swerved his car, hit him, and killed him.

"Oh, is THAT your only problem?" the woman said. She went to
her car and came back with a can of spray. She bent down and
sprayed the dead rabbit. The rabbit immediately jumped up, hopped
down the road about 20 feet and turned and waved at the two
motorists. He hopped another 20 feet, turned and waved again --
and continued hopping, stopping, and waving until he was out of
site.

"What in the HECK was that??" shouted the man. "What in the world
is in that spray can??"

"Oh, nothing, really," said the woman, "just hair restorer with a
permanent wave."
